Faculty Leadership Development Academy (FLDA)
The purpose of the Faculty Leadership Development Academy (FLDA) is to expand personal growth and opportunity while advancing social and community development; to improve the quality of life, enrich community, and enhance the faculty's capacity to be academic leaders given their interests and personal objectives. The FLDA provides multiple approaches to career enhancement (leadership skills) and career advancement (leadership roles including administrative positions for faculty at Virginia Tech).
2007-08 Faculty Leadership Development Academy Program Calendar:
- November 6, 2007, 4:00-5:30 p.m., Graduate Life Center, Room F: Ethics and Responsible Conduct of Research; panelists include Tom Inzana (Associate Vice President for Research Programs); Doris Zallen (Professor, Science and Technology in Society), and Karen DePauw (Vice Provost for Graduate Studies and Dean of the Graduate School). The panel will be facilitated by Dr. Anne McNabb (Professor, Biological Sciences and Associate Dean, Graduate Studies) . This will be a joint session for gradute students and faculty.
